Poland - Krakow

The Battle of Grunwald is one of the great battles of medieval Europe It was fought between the joint armies of Poland and Lithuania against the Teutonic Knights in 1410. The original monument was destroyed by the Nazis during WW11 but it was replicated and replaced in 1976.
